Chili pan mee

This was at Daniel's at Kota Kemuning.

Just a week ago someone I knew came visiting and raved about chili pan mee in KK.

And since we were around that vicinity doing delivery (haha), we decided to give it a try.

We ordered the small bowl and couldn't finish it!! Not because it's bad but because it came in HUGE portion!

Taste-wise I think it's good, although I'm no expert and to me, the best will forever be the one at Jln Sultan Ismail's behind my ex-office simply because that was my first and I had contributed a lot of my pathetic salary there LOL.

money cai & shuet cha! 

Anyway, I digress. 

It came with money chai soup (sorry I don't know what is the proper name) which although is standard accessories for a bowl of chili pan mee, but it is a very rare find for me.

My parents used to cook money chai soup (and watercress 西洋菜 soup too!) when we were young.. and I like them both XD

you can ignore my weird obsession with shuet cha (iced chinese tea) which is my favourite hawker drink in KL hehe.

Note to self: should go find money chai & 西洋菜 to cook as weekend soup!
